Mr. Big were melodic hard rockers known more for their guitar shredding than their songs.
Mr. Big was formed by former David Lee Roth bassist Billy Sheehan. He's been called the bass equivalent of Eddie Van Halen.
But unlike Eddie Van Halen, Billy Sheehan got along with Diamond Dave.
Other band members were former Racer X guitarist Paul Gilbert, vocalist Eric Martin and drummer Pat Torpey.
Most people know the band from their "Lean into It" album. But their "Raw Like Sushi" live album was huge in Japan.
