Singer Jared Weeks dated a professional female wrestler named Angelina Love, whose signature move is the Cramp Clutch. Guitarist Null sites Willie and Waylon, Metallica, Angus Young, Soundgarden and Alice in Chains as major influences. The band performed at the Buffalo Chip motorcycle rally in 2008. Other performers included John McCain. To promote the band, Weeks would put Saving Abel demos on stage whenever more popular acts played near his hometown.
