Head of Femur are a Midwestern indie rock band that goes big. Their first two records have trumpets and kettle drums galor The group has shared the stage with a discerning A-list of rockers including Bright Eyes, Wilco and Dr. Dog. Head of Femur played the first Intonation Festival. That's a big party put on by Pitchfork. They played their first live show in March 2002 and have been giggin' ever since.
